| Bio: | it's about the way you can look at something once and see one thing and later see something so completely different. it isn't the picture that has changed, it's you. the problem with abstract works is that my eye always wants to see something, 'well what IS it?' i ask. if it is too abstract and i can't see ANYthing, then i don't like it. It's just a bunch of crazy lines. But if i can just make something out, something small maybe, a form begins to reveal itself, a body, a face, a city, maybe a whole universe. my eye puts the pieces together based on my own perspective, my own past, my own history.
